The History of Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service


Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service is a locally owned and operated company in Las Vegas since 1948. Ted Wiens started his business after he retired as a Major and Ace Fighter Pilot in the Army Air Corps. He wanted to have his own business operating a Texaco gas station and selling Firestone tires. In 1957, Ted built his first location on the Las Vegas Strip (corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Oakey) where he expanded his business to servicing other Texaco stations with batteries, tires, and manufacturing retreaded tires. Today, Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service has 9 convenient locations and two Commercial Truck Tire Centers throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
