Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service offers a comprehensive range of warranties to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability. Here's an overview of their warranty offerings:
Ted Wiens Limited Warranty
- Parts: Covered for 2 years or 24,000 miles.
- Labor: Covered for 1 year or 12,000 miles.
- Commercial Vehicles & Vehicles for Hire:
- Parts: Covered for 1 year or 12,000 miles.
- Labor: Covered for 6 months or 6,000 miles.
- Tire Defects: Tires are guaranteed against material and workmanship defects per the manufacturer's warranty.
- Mileage Warranties: Some passenger tires come with mileage guarantees, honored on a pro-rated basis, excluding issues from misalignment, improper inflation, or abuse.
- Road Hazard Coverage: Available at an additional cost through the Ted Wiens Road Hazard Policy.
Nationwide Service Repair Limited Warranty
- Coverage: Applies to repairs performed by Ted Wiens and may be honored by other participating facilities across the U.S.
- Covered Systems:
- Air conditioning, heating, and climate control
- Brake system
- Engine cooling system
- Electrical system, including starting and charging systems
- Engine performance and drivability
- Electronic engine management and on-board computer systems
- Steering and suspension systems, including wheel bearings, CV joints/U-joints, half-shafts, and driveshafts
- Exclusions: Specific exclusions are detailed in the program certificate.
Ted Wiens Road Hazard Policy
- Duration: Covers tires for 36 months from the purchase date or until tread depth reaches 2/32", whichever comes first.
- Repair Reimbursement: Up to $20 per tire occurrence.
- Replacement Coverage:
- First 33% of usable tread wear: 100% reimbursement of the original tire cost.
- Beyond 33% tread wear: Pro-rated reimbursement based on remaining tread.
- Exclusions: Does not cover emergency service vehicles, vehicles used for hire, commercial purposes, towing, construction, postal service, farm, ranch, agriculture, or off-road use.
